Jan Dominicus has been angry for years about the unjust treatment of the Palestinians by the Israelis. Despite the intensity of his anger, he has done little to address the problem. A few letters to the editor and a Palestinian flag hanging outside his house have been sufficient up until now. Jan would likely have never done anything more himself about the situation, but thankfully for him and his wife Jeanette, someone else cast the first stone. This stone, a broken window and the help of Jeanette’s colleague, Johan, will launch Jan on adventure of discovery and change. As each unexpected event connects to a new one, Jan begins to wonder if it is all a coincidence, or is there more going on? Gradually, a new perspective begins to unfold on a seemingly unsolvable conflict, providing an opportunity for both Jews and Palestinians to free themselves from a nightmare that has held them captive for so long.
